In 2015 I started a company devoted to making drones safer through autonomous crash detection. Later that year my partners and I launched a successful Kickstarter unveiling the Mayday. The Mayday is a tiny onboard computer that can detect a drone crash. In 2016 I sold the Mayday’s IP to a drone parachute company and moved on to work at AEye for a year while attending community college.
While attending school and working at AEye, I did contract work for Transcend Robotics to integrate their electronics systems into a more production friendly design.
